AvonArt is one person; Denise Offringa. Let me introduce myself to you!

I was born in 1978 and have always been interested in all sorts of Art.
My interests range from singing, to photography, to webdesign, to painting,
to digital art and to writing. I dabble in all of these above mentioned sorts of Art.

I am greatly influenced by Nature, Animals, Music & Fantasy.
To me these are things of the utmost personal necessities in life.
At times I try to combine some of them as well. You'll find some
examples of that in the gallery. I like to take an alternative view.
Close-ups of animals for example, playing with distances, light, overlapping images.
I always hope to try to catch a certain aspect; of an animal, of a person, a situation,
an atmospheric sense of the whole of what was taking place at a certain moment.
Sometimes I also take an existing image and edit it with programmes and try to create
a whole new vision by means of digital art. They are things from my mind, starting to
take form, forming as I work, or just instant improvisations of what I see.
At times something just starts to shape and I look at it in a different way and an idea is born.
And then I try to capture it somehow. I love to create little worlds with that.
