Chris Healey
Chris Healey is probably most known to people as the one who 'did the tabs' for Nick's music on the Iguana pages. But he is also a very good guitarplayer and plays and sings in a band called Arco. David's initiation into music did not come until he turned 21. Anna, a beloved friend, placed a guitar into his hands and taught him a few basic techniques. At 24, David quit his 'real job' to devote his time to music. He recorded his debut album, "The Shadow Of Song" in 2004. He's got a good fingerpicking style and a rounded warm sounding voice.

Eve & The Garden
Eve & The Garden have been performing for a good few years now and individually even longer. They exist out of Ali, Paul, Aly & Phil. Paul & Ali are not just another two musicians. Actually Paul is Tanworth's very own new vicar since last year. He's been playing drums for many years and his wife Ali sings and plays the harp, the guitar and the piano. Both (and the other two band members as well) are people who are young-spirited, have a great sense of humour and are very talented. Ali also has a young women's choir called nChant.

James Newman Gray

"I grew up on rock music, typical for a northern town, my first gig being in 1985. Years later though, I have rediscovered my musical roots. My favourite musician being Nick Drake, a fascination that could be deemed a bit unhealthy perhaps, as I learn his music on the guitar, do paintings of him. A typical week now consists of sitting alone in my studio in town, painting traditional/cute/contemporary christmas illustrations for Hallmark. In the evenings I tend to play the acoustic guitar for half an hour, usually trying to play a Nick Drake tune."

This year James will do a song together with our very own Hayley-Jane! (co-organisator).

Sunset (Paul) Johnson
Paul has always loved the sound of acoustic music, thinking there's nothing like it. He learned to play the guitar by slowing down vinyls to half speed, when he was 15. He'd repeat a track over and over, real slow, until he could play it. His sound reminds of the older days when music wasn't yet presented in bitesize chunks and it draws you in wishing you'd be there.

Tom Wilman
Tom sings and writes songs. He believes someone will eventually come up with a pithy umbrella term for this, but until that time, he will continue to describe himself as a singer who also happens to be a writer of songs. His sound is a very gentle one, yet he's got a good strength in his voice.
