Hayley-Jane Stanley |
![]() |
Hayley-Jane is a probably the most avid Nick Drake promoter that exists
on this planet. She is an interesting young lady. She's been there, done
that, makes most interesting art works and shakes out poems from her pen
as if it were a garden sprinkler. She plays some guitar and sings. Writes
her own songs too. A philosopher about life & death. There's no one
like her really. This year she'll sing on the Friday as well! |

Denise Offringa |
![]() |
Denise lives in The Netherlands and comes over to the
UK about once a year for the gathering. A few years back, she saw part
of a documentary on television and became intrigued by Nick and fell in
love with his music. She decided to give it a go at a website, which would
have to have everything in one place, to make it easier for (new) fans
to look up information about Nick. She has worked on this Nick Drake site
for several years now, not happy until it's done (but it never is). In
2004 she got involved in the organisation of the gatherings and has been
part of it ever since. |

Suzanne Matthews |
![]() |
Suzie, or better known to some of you as SMMY, is the webmaster of the Nick Drake site BryterDayes.org (which is temporarily offline due to server problems) and was the first to organise a gathering in TIA, together with Mark Atherton, back in 2003. She's from California, but that hasn't stopped her from coming over almost every single year. Unfortunately last year was the only time she couldn't make it. But this year's she's back! :) She also has a great sense of humour and has a bubbly spirit which is bound to make you smile!
Peter Rice |
![]() |
Peter is a sound engineer and is the one who recorded Nick's demos all those years back. He also once recorded a live performance by Nick. In 2004, he spontaneously volunteered to do the PA for the concert and has been loyal at doing so in 2005 & 2006 as well and he will be there again this year. He is a wonderful person with a very warm heart. It was his idea to have a guitar workshop last year as well.
Philip & Annabel Littleford |
![]() |
Philip & Annabel may look human on the outside, but they are true angels on the inside. Whatever flows in those veins must be pure gold, because their only real connection to Nick is their son, who loves his music and plays the guitar. But through the years they have opened up their hearts, door and life to Nick Drake fans from all over the world. Both are very much involved in the community of Tanworth-In-Arden and especially Annabel is a very busy bee. Recently having become grandparents, they are taking it just a bit slower, but they are still welcoming people in and giving some of their time, space and warm kindness in helping out with the gathering.Without their support and knowledge the annual gathering would simply not have been what it is today. |
